Access to Humanities / Teaching / Social Sciences

Aimed at: People who will normally have life experience skills and are wishing to return to education with their objective being a place in higher education/university.

Additional Information: In addition, the College and SWAPWest intend to offer a new, 2 year part-time Access to Humanities programme. The aim is to equip students with the skills required to progress to Higher Education. There will be a mixture of core and elective units in a range of subjects, with the learner negotiating the best programme to meet their aspirations.

More details will be available from June 2008. The programme will run subject to approval.

  • BA (HONS) Social Sciences at Universities including: Strathclyde, West of Scotland, Stirling, Glasgow and Glasgow Caledonian.
  • Employment in Primary Teaching.
