The Advanced Diploma in IT reflects the blend of business, technical, interpersonal and project skills needed in the modern IT Business Year 1 (1) The Potential of Technology (2) Understanding Organisations (3) Professional Development (4) Creating Technology Solutions (5) Multimedia and Digital Products (6) Making Projects Successful (7) Managing Technology Systems + Functional Skills in Maths, English and ICT + 2 weeks work experience Year 2 In Year 2 of the Advanced Diploma in IT at Hull College you could study BTEC Specialised Diploma for IT Practitioners which consists of Web Development, Databases, Computer Animation, 3D Modelling, Programming and Computer Games. Those wishing to study something else could choose from the college's whole range of BTEC National Award programmes or from our A Level provision. Giving you huge flexibility in what you study. You also have to do an Extended Project, undertaking a project that extends your learning.
