Course Description:
This course is designed to cover the essential basics in order to become a beauty therapy assistant.
Course Content:
This course covers:
· preparing clients and carrying out basic treatments for manicures, pedicures and facials
· assisting therapists with consultations
· skin analysis
· preparing work areas
· reception
· stock
· client care.
You will also follow an essential skills qualification in communication and number
power.
Assessment:
Continuous practical, oral and written assessment throughout the course, leading to the production of a portfolio todemonstrate competence.
Next Steps:
Successful completion of this course may enable you to progress to a Beauty Therapy NVQ Level 2.
