The Course
This Introductory Diploma is designed to develop your knowledge, understanding and skills from an Art and Design practitioners point of view. You will have the opportunity to acquire skills and knowledge in the theory and practice of a range of specialisms, eg:

The programme is delivered through practical studio based activity together with research into contemporary and historical design practice. Students are able to use our well resourced Flexible Learning Area, where they can research into a wide range of art and design activity through the use of specialist magazines, videos, slides and CAD programmes.
This Introductory Diploma in Art, Design and Media will help you to fulfil your creative potential in a friendly and supportive environment, whether you want to go into employment or prepare for study at a higher level.

Continuous assessment throughout the programme.

Progression/Career Path
Students are able to progress on to a range of First Diplomas in Art and Design, Media or related disciplines.
