PROGRAMME CONTENT/STRUCTURE
This is a broad-based Applied Science course consisting of 18 units. In addition to studying some or all of the core Basic Skills of Literacy, Numeracy and IT the subjects covered will include:

Genetics and Genetic Engineering;
Human Physiology;
Microbiological Techniques;
Chemistry;
Role of the Science Technician; and
Scientific Principles.
