Course Description:
This course is particularly suited to those who have recently left school and wish to pursue a career in any area of business. It offers a wide range of subjects and develops useful commercial skills and knowledge, which can be applied in a variety of vocational settings. Course Content: This course covers: · Exploring Business Purposes · Developing Customer Relations · Investigating Financial Control · People in Organisations · Doing Business Online · Exploring Business Enterprise. There will also be the opportunity to develop Basic or Key Skills in the areas of communication, application of number and IT. Assessment: Assessment is by a mixture of internally-assessed assignments and external examinations. Next Steps: There are many employment opportunities in a business environment once you have completed this course. If you wish to continue your studies to an advanced level, then the BTEC National Diploma in Business or Retail would be a logical next step.
