Business (Marketing/Account/Tourism) Degree
This programme is offered in partnership with the University of Greenwich. The first two years of the programme will be studied here at West Kent College. The third and final year will be spent at the University of Greenwich main site. The course will provide the knowledge, skills and attributes for a career in administration and management, with the opportunity to specialise in a particular business function (subject to a sufficient number of enrolments).
Course Content:
The programme will allow you to specialise in either Marketing, Accounting or Tourism. Core units: These will be studied by students of all three specialisms:

Attendance Requirements:
Full-time. Details regarding expected course timetable and attendance will be given at interview, if available.
Applicants should have the following:
- GCSE grade C or above in English, Maths or equivalent
- Two A-Levels grades C /D minimum or equivalent
- In addition to the normal entry requirements, students for whom English is not their first language should possess an IELTS score of 6 .0, Cambridge Advanced Certificate in English or be able to demonstrate a comparable competence in English
- Mature applicants (those over 21 years of age at the start of the course) are welcomed and will be considered individually .
Entry Process:
All applicants will be invited to an interview with the tutor, allowing you to find out more and check that the course is the best option for you. Interviews normally take place between January and September of the year in which the course starts.
Assessment:
Continuous assessment of both theory and practice that will include assignments and projects. There will also be a number of time-constrained assessments/examinations in the form of short progress tests and there will be formal end of year tests.

Employment in management or trainee management in the United Kingdom and abroad.
