Three days per week in College studying units on Human Growth and Development, Food and Nutrition, Health and Safety, Care of Children, Play and Practical Activities, Career Planning and Skills for Working and Personal Development.

Further Study CACHE Level 2 Award/Cert/Dip in Childcare and Education or BTEC First Cert/Dip in Health and Social Care if the Foundation course is achieved at Merit level or above, with a good tutor's report.

Other Information Students may be offered an opportunity of Work Placement after a suitable period of assessment. Progression to Level 2 Diploma in Childare will be dependent on students achieving an excellent tutor report, an outstanding Work Placement, a Merit grade or above and, as you may be working with young children, you will be required to complete a Criminal Record check.
