Attendance
You will attend over four days per week including two hours per week completing Literacy and Numeracy qualifications.

Course Description
A mixture of practical and theory based sessions in the motor vehicle workshop and classroom.

• Fuel, Exhaust, Electrical, Braking and Transmission Systems
• Steering and Suspension Systems
• Wheel and Tyre Systems
• Body and Interior Cleaning
• Mechanical and Electrical Trim Fitting
• Plus Basic/Key Skills

Course Structure
You will spend up to four days per week in College completing practical and theory sessions for you motor vehicle programme and will be expected to complete qualifications in basic or key skills.

Course Assessment
Portfolio of evidence for practical and theory course work. Good Attendance.

Portfolio of evidence or test for Basic and Key Skills.

• All applicants must complete an initial assessment in Maths and English and attend an interview

Course Costs
There are no course fees if you are under 19 years old on 31 August 2010. However, you may have to pay for textbooks, personal kits, uniforms, trips and personal stationery. You will be informed of these at your interview.

Activities such as trips and visits will be arranged, which are beneficial to this course and your learning. These activities are optional and additional fees will be charged to you. Details will be provided at the time of interview.
