Are you interested in a career as a photographer, fashion designer, performer, graphic designer, computer games designer or marketing executive? If so the Creative and Media Diploma will prepare you for working in this exciting career area.

What will you study
This course will help you to develop your creativity, giving you practical knowledge of creative processes and skills and how they are applied in different areas of work. There are three main parts to the qualification: Principal Learning - about skills and employment in the creative & media sector * Generic Learning - extend your knowledge and experience and develop essential life skills * Additional Specialist Learning - an opportunity to take extra qualifications in either Creative & Media or a complementary area.

How will you be assessed
Assessment takes place throughout the year in the form of assignments, coursework and group discussion and at the end of the course you will gain an overall grade.

What can you do after course
The qualification is equivalent to 7 high grade GCSEs and you will be able to progress to the Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Creative & Media.

Additional information
You will have 10 days work experience which will form part of your project.
