Description of course:
This course is suitable for students who have reached a pre-intermediate to intermediate level of English and wish to gain greater fluency and accuracy in the use of the language. The focus will be on improving language skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing as well as developing vocabulary and cultural awareness. The language will be taught using communicative methods with the emphasis on participation.

Method of assessment:
Students will be prepared for the University of Cambridge ESOL, PET or FCE exams. Exams will take place in December and June.

Entry requirements:
The course is open to all students whose first language is not English. It is expected that students will have a good basic knowledge of English grammar.

Specific entry requirements:
Students must meet the immigration requirements of the British Government for visiting or studying in the UK . All prospective students will be asked to take a diagnostic test.
