Is this course right for me?

Film Studies offers students the opportunity to engage in both the theoretical and the creative study of film making. The course encourages students to develop their analytical skills through writing, research and discussion. There is also a creative practical element that involves a choice from scriptwriting, film making or storyboarding.

You will be studying a wide range of film products and the theory underpinning them. You will learn how professionals approach the creation of film texts. The course also covers how audiences consume films and the industries that make them.
