Overview

Craven College offers a selection of popular GCSEs that are timetabled to complement a variety of full-time courses at the college to help you to achieve your career goals. You can also choose to follow a full-time programme of subjects within the Fresh Start programme.
Fresh Start is a one year course designed to add to, or improve your quali�cations in a range of subjects and build your con�dence. As a Fresh Start student you can expect to make friends, gain con�dence, improve your skills, achieve quali�cations, carry out work experience and enjoy all the other bene�ts of being a Craven College student.

The Fresh Start programme is often a launch programme for other courses. You will receive help and guidance throughout the year from your tutors, helping you to decide what you will do when the course ends. This is a valuable year during which you can reï¬,ect on your past educational experiences and adapt to new changes.
If you are successful on the GCSEs and Fresh Start course you can then progress to AS and A2 Levels or one of the many vocational courses we offer. You will �nd the supportive and encouraging atmosphere at Craven College an ideal environment for learning and development.

Course Content
A one year course, you will do a mix of a GCSE English, Numeracy and a BTEC Introductory Diploma in Vocational Skills.

Career Progression
Many course options at both Level One and Level Two A Level programmes or vocational quali�cations.
