Facilities for students:
You can benefit from a well equipped library at the Pelham site and lending rights at Sussex University and the University of Brighton.
The Access course maintains excellent links with local universities and there are many opportunities to attend Open Days throughout the year. We also have visiting staff from the universities offering advice on admissions, UCAS applications, finance, career choice etc.
We also have our own excellent student services department, counselling service and student union.

Tutors:
The Access Health and Health Science Tutors are subject specialists in their field, who have taught a range of GCSE, A Level, BTEC and Degree level courses and are highly experienced in both teaching and pastoral support.

Assessment: A variety, including: Essays, Practical Reports, Tests, Short Answer Questions Presentations, Research Project

Alternatively, you may wish to seek employment (in some cases after further training) in fields such as Nursing, Midwifery, Physiotherapy, Osteopathy, Alternative Therapy, Complementary Medicine, Podiatry, Occupational Health, Social Work, Teaching, Speech Therapy, Paramedics, Acupuncture and Mortuary Science.
