• Human Lifespan Development
• Health and Social Care Services.

Functional Skills -Communication, Numeracy and IT are part of the course.

Students must do 60 hours of assessed work experience in a health care or early years setting as part of the course.

Assignments may include:

• Discussion
• Written tasks
• Role play
• Presentation
• Reports - work experience in a relevant health care or early years setting is part of the course.

Assessment is by coursework for each unit and work experience.

Career Progression:
BTEC National Diploma in Health Studies, into employment, or other vocational course eg childcare.
