HNC Computer Games Development

Course Content:
This course gives students a basic grounding in computing and computer programming allied to specialisms in 3D modelling and animation, games development and mathematics. The course introduces students to object orientated programming and design techniques, providing a broader understanding of the development methodologies.

SCQF Level: 7

Entry Requirements:
Minimum of 1 Higher (Maths prefered) with Standard Grade at Credit Level or SGA at Intermediate 2 or NC Digital Media. Mature students are welcome to apply without the above qualifications but with other relevant qualifications and/or experience.

Study Mode:
Full-Time.

Progression To:
Students may progress onto the second year of a degree programme in Games Software Development or a related area.
