Course Content:
This new course is aimed at those looking to begin working towards a career within the computer games industry or related area (such as software engineering or interactive media design). The course is practical in content and delivered using a wide range of up-to-date development tools, technologies and techniques. No formal entry requirement. On successful completion, learners will be eligible to apply for entry to a relevant HNC., ,

Progression Opportunities:
Successful completion may provide entry to the HNC in Computer Games Development or relevant HNC in Software Development.

Career Potential:
While this course is offered as an access to further study, it is expected that students will ultimately find employment as games developers, designers, modellers or programmers.

Course Assessment:
There are no formal examinations. Student progress is monitored by continuous assessment throughout the year.
