Course Details
The IMI National is designed to provide an enhanced learning
programme to meet the needs of the future modern vehicle
technician and master technician.

The aim of the qualification is to develop the necessary
knowledge and understanding required of diagnostic and
repair technicians, and to provide students with progression
opportunities for career development and further study.

What will I study?
Students will study the following units up to the standard required for Level 2:

· Vehicle Mathematics

· Vehicle Science

· ICT for Vehicle Repair

· Vehicle Electrical and Electronics

· Maintaining Good Workplace Housekeeping

· Health and Safety

· Carrying Out Routine Vehicle Maintenance

Entry Requirements:
Progression/Careers: Successful students may have the opportunity to progress to the IMI National Diploma in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair Level 3
