Is this course for you
The Diploma is suitable for people who wish to learn how to come up with creative solutions, and to plan and deliver successful IT projects. It will focus on three main themes: Business, People and Technology.

What will you study
During your course you will cover seven areas relevant to the IT industry: The Potential of Technology * Exploring Organisations * Effective Communication * Skills for Innovation * Networking and Other Technology Systems * Multimedia * Managing Projects. You will also cover more general learning such as: Functional Skills * Team Work * 10 days Work Experience * Project - you will also study an additional single subject or course to provide depth and breadth to the course. This may be a non-IT or an IT subject.

How will you be assessed
By assignments which are completed throughout the year at the end of each unit and a project.

What can you do after course
You could continue on to the Advanced Diploma - equivalent to 3.5 A Levels and then on to University.

Additional information
The Higher Diploma is equivalent to seven GCSEs grade A*-C. You will also cover numeracy and literacy. What
