Course Description:
This course explores the way the media industry works and the employment opportunities
within it. As well as taking part in producing videos, advertising and photographic products, it involves learning to work to deadlines and in small production teams.
Course Content:
This course covers:
· the media industry
· advertising
· video production
· media audiences and products
· photography
· research
· media production project.
Assessment:
Continuous assessment of practical and written work throughout the course and a
final major project. Two of the seven units studied make up the final major project. You will also participate in an end of year exhibition.
