Course Content
The BTEC National Diploma in Health
Studies consists of 13 core units plus
five specialist units.

Special Features
Work experience (400 hours minimum) is an essential element of this course and involves placements with children, older people and people with special needs. Students may be required to cover transport costs to and from their work placement.
Progression Routes
Successful completion of the course enables the student to study for degrees of HNDs in such areas as Nursing, Dietetics, Biomedical/ Biological Science, Radiography, Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy, Teaching, Podiatry, Applied Science and Social Science or employment.
