What will I be learning?

You will develop a range of practical skills and techniques using various tools and equipment. As well as developing your practical skills you will also develop your personal and interpersonal skills and how to work safely in a particular environment.

How will I learn?

You will learn in a practical simulated environment with a dedicated member of staff who will support you throughout your learning. As well as developing your practical skills you will also develop your literacy and numeracy skills in our state of the art classrooms. These skills will assist you in gaining recognised qualifications as well as enhance your employability prospects.

What else might I want to know?

This is a practical course which will help improve not only your learning and understanding of the subject but also your confidence. The teachers are friendly, easy to talk to and helpful.

There are no examinations on the course as all of your work is assessed through coursework.

What can I do afterwards?

After successful completion of the course you will be able to progress onto a Level 1 course, an apprenticeship or employment.
