Performing Eng Ops (Electrical) Level 1 NVQ
The course will allow you access to a wide range of engineering activities to suit your need and interest and enable you to pursue a career in an engineering environment by working safely while developing your skills.

Course Content:
The course will cover the following subjects:

  • Electrical
  • Electronics
  • Machining

The main focus will be on Electronics skills

Vocational Relevance:
NVQs are basic competences required for employment

Emta Awards Limited (EAL).

Full-time. Details regarding expected course timetable and attendance will be given at interview, if available.

Applicants should have:

Entry Process:
All applicants will be invited to an interview with the tutor, allowing you to find out more and check that the course is the best option for you. Interviews normally take place between January and September of the year in which the course starts.

Assessment:
Assessment is practical.

Progression Routes:
The course provides the foundation requirement for the Apprenticeship scheme at Level 2 with opportunities to progress to the Modern Apprenticeship at Level 3.

Career Options:
On successful completion of the course you will have the knowledge of a range of engineering disciplines.
