Course description
This one-year programme aims to offer a small range of vocational â€-samplers†to help you to decide on your future career and training path. These â€-samplers†run along side a range of additional accreditations including functional skills according to the needs and interests of learners. There may be opportunities to take part in work experience and a residential trip.
A part-time option may also be available commencing in December.
There are a range of â€-core†activities which will include functional skills, personal and social development and team activities.
Vocational options could include:
• Childcare
• ICT
• Retail, Administration and Business
• Woodwork (not available at Witney)
• Painting and Decorating (not available at Witney)
• Creative Skills
Please note: It will not be possible to know which vocational routes will run until after the first induction week at the start of the course.

Entry requirements
No formal qualifications are required. You will be invited for an interview to assess your suitability for the course and you will need to attend an assessment day.
Eligibility for this course will be depend on interview and assessment day results, and a final decision will be made after the assessment day.

Additional information

*Students aged 16-18 will not be required to pay the full course fee, in most cases your fee will not exceed £150. Please contact us if you need more information regarding fees for full-time courses.
