This course is free if you are under 19. While we will not be able to confirm final fee rates until nearer your enrolment date, you may be eligible for a reduced fee rate if you are over 19.

Course Description:
This course develops you both physically and academically in order to achieve employment in the public services uniformed sector or progress to Higher Education.
Course Content:
Over the two years the course will include:

You will also have the opportunity to take part in day trips, which have included, sailing, canoeing, rock climbing, paintball, and visits to the public services places of work.
Assessment:
Continuous assessment throughout the course, except for two modules, which are externally assessed.

Entry Requirements:
Four GCSEs at grade C, including English and maths is desirable or an Edexcel First Diploma or GNVQ Intermediate. Applications are also welcomed from mature students with relevant experience. As a basic level of fitness will be an advantage; you should be
able to run one mile comfortably. All applicants must attend an interview, have a successful reference from a previous educational establishment, complete a basic skills test, attend a taster session and complete an assignment prior to being offered a place on the course.
