Course Description
This one year course is aimed at those wanting to work in the Complementary and Alternative Therapies industry. The course is designed to give you an introduction and grounding in all aspects of the main complementary therapies.
At the end of the course you should be able to progress on to the City and Guilds Diploma in Complementary and Alternative Therapies, Level 3. Your progression will only be considered on successful completion of Level 2 and meeting all set deadlines throughout your first year, as well as excellent attendance.
Assessment for this course is continuous. You will be required to work on clients throughout your course so it is necessary to ensure that you have people who can come to the college for you to practise on.
You will need to purchase uniform, course books and packages as well as pay a set amount for trips and visits and a CRB check.
You will have several assignments to complete and a minimum of 45 treatments over the year. You will also have to sit some independent examinations that are set by City and Guilds for your Anatomy section.
