About this course
For the intensive, 25-week course, you should have some basic knowledge of Gaelic, although if you are a competent linguist and are willing to dedicate sufficient time (approximately 4 to 5 hours per week), then you could start from scratch.
If you already have some knowledge of Gaelic (e.g. a rusty Higher) then you can enrol on the revision, 10-week course.
The full (25-week) intensive Gaelic course is accredited at 20 SCQF credits, however the 10-week revision course is not, although you will achieve a standard equivalent to a Scottish Higher. If you complete either course satisfactorily you will receive a Certificate of Course Completion.
