Gas ACS22 LPG Caravan Appliance Assessments Overview

This assessment follows the LPG Caravan appliance updating course.

These assessments are taken to gain competency in the Leisure Accommodation Vehicles (Caravan and motorhomes) sector specific appliances.
For example:

• HTRLP2 - Closed flue fires
• HTRLP3 - Caravan space heaters
• REFLP2 - Caravan gas refrigerators
• WATLP2 - Caravan water heaters

Entry requirements

LPG Core Gas Safety certification.

One day to cover all appliances.

How will I be assessed?

Theory assessments cover:

• Service, installation, commissioning and identifying defects on appliances.

Practical assessments cover:

• Ventilation
• Flues
• Gas supply
• Appliance controls and devices

Success rates

100% achievement since commencement.

What does the course lead to?

Upon competency and certification, you can register with Gas Safe and then work within the leisure industry with motorhome and caravan dealers or just offer your services to motorhome and caravan owners.

• Part P (defined scope) for gas fitters/plumbers
• Solar
