About the course :

GCSE English involves the four skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking. Although these are language skills, there is a strong element of literature, including some study of Shakespeare. You also have to do some personal writing about your feelings and experiences as well as writing of a more practical nature.

GCSE Mathematics is the study of statistics, number, algebra, geometry and trigonometry. The syllabus is modular: there are three exam modules, which may be taken in November, March or June, depending on your progress.
