If you want to explore the human and environmental background to global issues, this course is for you.
You learn from experts who influence global debates on topics such as poverty, inequality and migration.
And outside the classroom, you gain real-world exposure to global issues through:
debates with industry speakers
international placements
field trips (currently including locations such as Los Angeles, the Mojave Desert, Dubai and China).
The course includes an integrated Masters year, allowing you to develop advanced research skills.

About this course

Recent Geography graduates have gone on to jobs such as:
policy and campaign manager, Wildlife and Countryside Link
membership officer, Ethical Trading Initiative
planning adviser, Environment Agency.

You will also need GCSE (or equivalent) Mathematics, with at least grade 4 (or grade C).
You should also have a broad range of GCSEs 9-4 (A*-C), including good grades in relevant subjects.

In Year 2, you can pick from an exciting range of locations: current destinations include China, the Mojave Desert, Dubai and Los Angeles. There is also a UK-based field trip.
