This half day programme explores watching learners perform in the workplace and focuses on the roles, responsibilities and suitability of observation as an assessment method. It covers the key steps that assessors need to take their candidates through and the documents produced from those key processes.
Target group: Practising assessors and verifiers and those in training.
Course Content:
- A1 requirements
- Planning the process with learners and others
- Working with others in the assessment process
- Giving learners feedback on their performance
- Providing a quality audit trail for assessment
- Looking at and identifying documentation requirements
Methods Used:
- Trainer facilitator
Delegates are encouraged to bring examples of related documentation for discussion to the event in order to identify good practice.
