The Global health module focuses on identifying and assessing the challenges in public health from a global perspective and provides you with a platform for education and research about health challenges facing the world's populations, particularly in populations burdened by poverty.The overarching aim of the principles of global health is to contribute to a reduction of the global burden of disease. Focus is placed on the distribution and determinants of health, diseases and injuries in populations with different social, economic and cultural characteristics, maternal and child health. English Requirements For those students whose first language is not English, the following qualification is also required:IELTS: 7.0Please note that due to changes in the UKVI's list of SELTs we are no longer able to accept TOEFL as evidence of English language for students who require a CAS as of April 2014.
