Subjects

For each 8 point subject you are enrolled in, you should expect to spend 10 to 12 hours per week working on assignments and assigned readings, tutorial assistance, individual or group research/study, forum activity, workplace learning, and attending lectures, residential schools, or examinations.

If you are studying four subjects per session, this is equivalent to a full-time job. The workload for some subjects may vary as a result of approved course design.

This ongoing development will enable you to effectively participate in your course and graduate prepared to enter the workforce.

Master of Intelligence Analysis

To graduate students must satisfactorily complete 96 points.

Graduate Diploma of Intelligence Analysis

To graduate students must satisfactorily complete 64 points.

Graduate Certificate in Intelligence Analysis

The course consists of an articulated set of courses containing a Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma, and Masters as follows:

Graduate Certificate in Intelligence Analysis.


JST450 Introduction to Intelligence, and,

JST428 Operational Intelligence, and,

JST495 Intelligence and Analytics, and,

One eight (8) point elective from any of the postgraduate subjects offered by AGSPS.



Graduate Diploma of Intelligence Analysis.

In addition to the subjects above:


JST452 Intelligence Management (8pts), and,

JST493 National Security and Intelligence Issues (16pts), and,
