Graduate Diploma in Management Studies

The Institute of commercial Management (ICM) is one of the largest and most widely recognised professional bodies in the UK. The ICM-DMS programme is designed to offer business managers and recent graduates a modern business management education and to provide an overall understanding of business activities.

The DMS course covers critical business functions such as Finance, Marketing, IT, Human Resource Development, Ethics, Corporate strategy, International business management and Business Statistics. The structure of the programme ensures that participants are able to develop both academic knowledge and practical management skills. The qualification also give entry to a range of other postgraduate programmes.

Part 1

• Human Resource Management
• Marketing Management
• Strategic Management

An Advanced Diploma in Business Studies is awarded on completion of all part 1 subjects.

Part 2

• Financial Management
• Leadership Studies
• International Business Environment
• Corporate Policy

A Graduate Diploma in Management Studies is awarded on completion of all part 1 & part 2 Subjects.

Assessment

After completion of the course students will be ready to take the relevant ICM exams. These exams have to be taken at an external centre in March, June, September or December. LSST can assist students who wish to book exams.

Entry Requirements

Candidates must possess one of the following:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (subject to ICM approval)
• Some other qualifications may permit students to enter at this level. Please consult ICM for full details.
