The Ashmolean is the University of Oxford’s museum of art and archaeology, founded in 1683. Its world-famous, extraordinarily diverse collections range from Egyptian mummies to contemporary art, with objects dating from 8000 BC to the present day.
This course will explore specific works from various period and galleries to give an overview of the depth and breadth of the collection.
Please Note - as we are not guaranteed access to the museum (school groups take precedence) please do not book any train tickets until this course is CONFIRMED by your tutor.
