In order to qualify for this course, you will need: An interview A portfolio presentation Successful achievement of appropriate academic qualifications FdA in Graphic arts or related subject at Level 5 HND in Art & Design or related subject Equivalent professional experience Be over 18 All applicants are invited to attend an interview with either the Course Leader or Course Tutor. You will be notified of your date for your interview by our Admissions Team who will also update UCAS Track with details of your application.. Career Path You will be prepared for employment across a range of design related areas such as: Accounts Manager Brand Designer/Strategist Creative Director Design Studio Based Editorial Freelance Designer Graphic Designer Illustrator Multimedia Designer Publication and Advertising Web Based Media. What can I do if I complete this course? You can progress into full time employment as part of a design studio or work freelance achieving your own work balance. All students who successfully complete this degree may have the opportunity to progress onto a Master of Arts (MA) qualification or Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).. Duration One year, full time / Two years, part time. Cost You don’t need cash to enrol on a course. Tuition fee loans cover university or college tuition fees and are paid direct to the university or college, by Student Finance England. They are available to all eligible students regardless of household income. The amount you pay back is dependent on how much you earn and not how much you owe and you won’t need to start paying them back until you are earning more than £21,000 per year. Student Loans will also help to support your living costs.
