This 6 day course takes you through the entire process of creating a chair from a tree. Use of pole lathe and shave horse with tradional tools and also steam bending are parts of the process that will be covered. By the end of the course students will have completed their first chair and learned all the basic skills to go on green wood working at home. Lunches, tea and coffee are provided over the 6 days This course will run from 0900am until 5.00pm approximately each day. Suitable for: Open to all

Beginners or those people who have already done some green woodworking
Special Requirements:- Appropriate clothing required, sturdy boots etc. Yurt camping and camping pitches are available for people attending this course. Please go to the camping section for details on yurts.
