Hairdressing: Advanced Level 3 Apprenticeship

You'll develop your knowledge and ability in a range of techniques, including advanced cutting, styling and colouring.

You'll learn how to conduct an effective client consultation to ensure that your customer¿s needs are met, and will develop skills in selling products and services to clients and how to work in accordance with health and safety procedures to ensure the wellbeing of your clients, your colleagues, and yourself.

You'ill also study maths and English if you do not have a grade A* - C in these subjects, Employment rights and responsibilities and Personal Learning and thinking skills

You need to have a Level 2 qualification in Hairdressing or have completed the intermediate apprenticeship in hairdressing.

You'll be assessed on the practical work that you do in the workplace through:

• Observations
• A portfolio
• On-line Testing
• Assignments
• Oral Questioning.

On completing this apprenticeship you can move directly into employment as a Hairdresser/stylist in a salon.
