Course Content
The programme is offered as an Apprenticeship and involves four days a week in employment and one day attendance at College. Subjects studied may include - advise and consult with clients, shampoo and condition hair and scalp, cut and style hair, perm and neutralise hair, change hair colour and reception duties. The Apprentice will develop skills and knowledge to become a professional hairdresser and have the opportunity to apply learning in a practical and realistic way. Key Skills may also need be achieved, as well as developing a portfolio of work.

Progression
The Advanced Apprenticeship leads to a recognised qualification whilst employed. Once fully qualified, the Apprentice can use their ski work in high street salons, spa complexes, leisure centres, hotels and department stores or even on an ocean liner! Advanced Apprenticeship at Level 3.
