Half-day awareness course: Introduction to Asperger's Syndrome

Course Overview
This short course is aimed at both professionals and non-professionals who know little about the Autistic Spectrum Disorder known as Asperger's Syndrome. This is a general introduction to the condition and the possible impact on educational opportunities.

Course Structure
Venue: Thanet College Professional Development Centre (upstairs in OLRC / Library).

Mode of Attendance: 3 hour session.

Qualification Aims
This short taster session is for tutors who teach and or support students/pupils with Aspergers.

Assessments/Examinations
The session has no assessment.

There will be an attendance certificate on completion of the session.
