Hand-iced Cookie Decorating Class

The class begins with a short overview of cookie making and the class covers the following areas:

ð the secrets behind baking perfect cookies (from choosing appropriate ingredients and recipes to creating the best shape for icing)

ð An overview of working with sugar paste and royal icing

ð How to create simple blossoms and sugar paste embellishments easily

ð Cutting sugar paste perfectly

ð Demonstration of making and colouring royal icing

ð Piping royal icing in various different pretty designs and detailing work on cookies

ð Decorating cookies with embellishments from dragees to edible glitter.

You will take home the cookies that you will have decorated as well as free course material covering techniques and recipes.

This is a hands-on class involving demonstrations and plenty of time for you to practise the techniques for yourself.

All ingredients and equipment for the day will be provided. You do not need to bring anything with you!
