Originally set up in 1994 to train both carers and trainers in people handling(currently 2000 basic and 400 trainers per year) we have developed along with our loyalcustomer base courses from single day, bespoke courses in all aspects of health care deliveryincluding risk assessment, challenging behaviour,venepuncture, catheterisation,feeding difficulties, hygiene / the prevention of cross infection and first aid.If a customer identifies a training requirement that we cannot personallydeliver we endeavour to match them up with someone we know can deliver to our satisfaction.Handle with Care is a training company working specifically within the health care sector.All our extensive experience is in the field of care and teaching. Training is tailored tothe needs of our customers, their staff and client group. Our two main aims for all ourtraining is that first and foremost the content must be relevant to what people need;we work hard to use the experience of course members to assist them in making use andsense of what we are doing.This we know helps them to incorporate new material with theirown expertise, maintaining their confidence and self worth.The second aim is to closelymonitor the effectiveness of all our training sessions, to ensure that customers aresatisfied with the value they get for their money and their return on investment.To underpin our commitment to these objectives I as Managing Director negotiatewith customers the nature, content and objectives of courses. I also carry outan after-sales evaluation with owners and managers to evaluate the satisfaction with,and relevance of, the course content. By this means we have established a high levelof return business throughout the British Isles with a range of customers from thebiggest care home group to the smallest single care providers.
