Health and Safety Level 3
The Health and Safety Level 3 course provides progression from the Health and Safety Level 2 course and is intended for those who are operating in a supervisory or managerial role. When you have achieved the Health and Safety Level 3 award, you will have gained a wide range of knowledge on health and safety law, hazards present in the workplace, and how to implement effective and necessary controls. This course will equip you with the skills necessary for the effective supervision and management of staff. The Health and Safety Level 3 award is relevant in both the public and private sector. Candidates working towards the level 3 award will know that both supervisors and managers have both legal and moral obligations to ensure the health and safety within a business. This includes obligations to employees, contractors, suppliers and members of the public. Holders of the Health and Safety Level 3 award can assist businesses in demonstrating meeting their legal requirements to engage a competent person.
