Content: main provisions of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 - safety
policies - corporate insurance - principles of risk assessment - successful health and safety management - incident reporting - codes of practice - staff
consultation - managing a safety inspection and powers of inspectors - topical items.
Successful completion of the course gives a Training for Care certificate of
training.
