Health and Safety - Noise at Work Regulations 2006

The aim of the course is to minimise the number of people who suffer from permanent or temporary industrial deafness.

Objectives

By the end of the course the delegate will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the following:

*Health and safety at Work Act 1974.
*Duties of the employer and employee in relation to noise at work.
*Effects of noise on the ear.
*The Ear.
*Loss of hearing due to industrial noise.
*Noise control.
*Personal ear protection.
*Noise reduction.
*Vibration and sound measurement.
*Action levels.

Certification

After the successful completion of a short written test to determine that an understanding of the objectives has been achieved, A Carl Stahl certificate of attendance will be issued.
