About the course:
Aimed at anyone in work environment, provides delegates with the understanding of health and safety that enables them to contribute to any risk assessment based health and safety management system.

Course Content:
- Health and safety requirements placed on employers and employees
- Hazard and risk and the main causes of harm to workers
- Health, safety and welfare provisions in the workplace
- The importance of safe systems of work, procedures and rules
- Hazards and controls in respect to safety and occupational health risks
- How the individuals actions can reduce risks to health and safety

Equipment Requirements:
All equipment is provided by the College.

Assessment:
Delegates are assessed by an examination paper consisting of 30 multiple choice questions. Delegates who achieve 20 or more correct answers will pass the examination and receive a certificate.
