Health and Wellness Administration Foundations Certificate (Undergraduate)

This certificate will provide an introductory overview of concepts such as an introduction to health care delivery, communication skills, medical terminology, health care information systems, the regulatory environment, and patient records. These concepts are needed to work in an entry level aspect of the health and wellness industry, such as a medical spa, weight management clinic, physician front office or clinic. Completion of the program allows a student to sit for the Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) exam, a national certification offered through the National Healthcareers Association®.
