Description

To Meet and develop on the regulatory and legislative requirements introduced to the care sector in 2001 and 2002. To provide an appropriately qualified workforce, to a consistent national standard. Support the personal and professional development of workers within the care sector The objectives will be achieved through the design of the qualifications and the processes of their delivery.
Suitable for: To provide recognition and accreditation for those working in the health and social care sector whose roles involve the provision of care and support to children, young people and adults in a range of contexts. This includes both within protected environments such as private care homes as well as in individual's own houses

Course programme

Course review:

The role involves the provision of care and support to children, young people and adults in a range of contexts. This includes both within protected environments such as private care homes as well as in individual’s own houses. This qualification is aimed at people, usually working under supervision, working in private care homes, homes within the public health system and care workers who support and help individuals with their physical and emotional care and daily living requirements.

Learners must complete a minimum of 4 credits and the course can be completed within 6 months.
