You need to be currently employed within a care setting, but you require no formal entry requirements.

This course is aimed at care staff in any care, health and young persons setting with managerial responsibilities.

Course Content:

Completion of 8 units in total, 4 core units:

• Use and develop methods and systems to communicate, record and report
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of healthy and safe practices in the working environment
• Take responsibility for the continuing professional development of self and others
• Specialist unit: Develop practice, which promotes the involvement, well-being and protection of children and young people
  Plus 4 units of your choice
