Higher National Certificate In Mechanical Engineering

The HNC in Mechanical Engineering is a 2 Year Part time course.
This course is aimed at those wishing to enter the Higher Technician Level in the Engineering profession. This course will also be of interest to those wishing to undertake studies at under graduate level

·One A-Level pass in a Science/Mathematical Area
·Relevant Industrial Experience

How will I be assessed?
This course is assessed by a combination of projects, assignments and practical tasks. The qualification is assessed entirely by course work. On completion the student receives a Higher National Certificate in Engineering.
What can I do next?
The successful candidate may progress to under graduate studies, either at a local university or as a distance learning student with the University of Sunderland. Ultimately a candidate may become a Chartered Engineer.
